The Organic Growers of Bothwell are delighted to announce that we will be opening our doors (well, gate!) to the public on SATURDAY MAY 18th 2013 for our May Open Day from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
This is always a really fun, popular event which lets members of the community come along and find out about all aspects of the garden, organic growing, bee-keeping, waste reduction and recycling. This year, we will have a number of stalls including:
– Vegetable and herb plants and flowers for hanging baskets and bedding plants
– Garden essentials such as soil improvers, organic slug control and fertilisers
– Wonderful home baking
– The ever-popular tombola
We are also delighted that we will be joined by the Scottish Beekeepers’ Association, who will be on hand to answer all your questions about how we can help protect these fascinating creatures.
Garden members – We would love volunteers on the day to help out on the stalls and we plead again for more of your delicious home baking, jams and chutneys. If you can help out in any way, even if it’s just for half an hour, please do let Anne know.
We do hope you can come along and join us – and let’s hope the sun is shining as beautifully as it was last year!
The Organic Growers of Bothwell regret that we cannot allow dogs into the garden, with the exception of assistance dogs. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
